Transitional Living Program (TLP)

Established in 2014, Grace House’s Transitional Living Program (TLP) extends Grace House's services and support to young women ages 16 to 21 as they prepare to age out of foster care.

TLP provides a continuum of care—offering structure, mentorship and encouragement to guide each girl toward independent living. Every participant works one-on-one with a licensed social worker and a dedicated life coach to set and achieve goals in education, career development and emotional wellness.

20 girls reside on our Grace House campus, while 15 more live independently off-campus—all receiving support through tuition assistance, living stipends and essential life-skills training, such as financial literacy, job readiness and healthy relationship development.

As part of our Growing in Grace Campaign, we are excited to expand our program with two additional on-campus homes. This growth allowed us to double our capacity, serving even more young women aging out of foster care and preparing them for bright, self-sufficient futures.

Extended Transitional Living Program

For girls aging out of our core programs, Grace House offers the opportunity to join the Extended Transitional Living Program (ETLP)—a vital next step in their journey toward independence. Whether pursuing college or vocational training, these young women continue receiving guidance and support tailored to their goals.

Through education, volunteering and hands-on life experiences, we equip each participant with the tools to thrive as confident, purpose-driven adults who give back to their communities.
